DAY 01 (CUSCO - CLOUD FOREST - BAMBU LODGE): We will pick you up from your hotels very early in the morning in one of our private vehicles, and we will begin our trip to the “Manu National Park” from the city of Cusco. The first place to visit this day will be the interesting archaeological site of Ninamarca, with its funerary towers commonly known as "Chullpas". Continuing with our tour, we will visit Paucartambo, a picturesque and interesting town of colonial origin (full of folklore). Then we will continue to the Acjanaco pass (3,500 masl), which marks the beginning of our journey within the Manu National Park (natural viewpoint); then we will descend through a Cloud Forest, the humidity of this area provides an ideal habitat for species such as: orchids, ferns (ancient plants), bromeliads (epiphytes), mosses, lichens and more. In the fascinating Cloud Forest, with luck, we may observe the Spectacled Bear, monkeys, the Cock-of-the-Rock (Peru's national bird), the Resplendent Quetzal, and much more. Many species are endemic to this area. We will have lunch en route and, after some activities (hiking), we will arrive at our comfortable Bambú Lodge near the town of Pilcopata, where we will have dinner and spend the night. Our lodge is located in a transition zone between the highland and lowland rainforest (800 meters above sea level). We will experience and see the different habitats, the altitude range, and the high diversity of wildlife found around this area. Night hikes are also available, as well as the opportunity to enjoy a magnificent starry sky. (Lunch and Dinner).

DAY 2 (BAMBU LODGE – PICO DE OZ – MACHUWASI – CUSCO): Upon awakening this day, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful sunrise and observe countless birds flying by, some perched in the trees and others enjoying our feeders. Our breakfast will be nutritious and appropriate for the occasion. We will then board our vehicle and continue for another hour, then enjoy a well-maintained hummingbird garden. Afterward, we will visit a cocha (a lagoon or abandoned section of the river).

Walking along the trail system and along the riverbanks, we will learn about insects, medicinal plants, trees, reptiles, mammals, and more until we reach Lake Machuwasi, where we will board a rustic raft and, with the help of all our equipment (telescope, binoculars, and books), observe a diversity of wildlife such as capybaras, monkeys, reptiles, great egrets, keskadees, toucans, woodpeckers, cardinals, and more.

After this activity, we will enjoy a delicious lunch from the area and then board our vehicle to take us back to Cusco. On the return trip, we will continue looking for more wildlife. We will have lunch en route, arriving in Cusco around dinner time. (Breakfast and lunch included.). End of our services...

    OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES (BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT):

    1. Zipline (Canopy Zip Down Line): In our lodge area, we will have the opportunity to zip-line. Travel from tree to tree and from platform to platform using pulleys on horizontal cables, enjoying the view and adrenaline rush of the treetops and the rainforest canopy.
